The Stanley Cup finals are here and game one took place in sunrise FL this evening in which Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky along with his Panther teammates shut out the Oilers 3-0.

There have been many thoughts and predictions on how this series would open as both teams were enjoying a week's worth of rest and preparation for this final series. The Oilers outshot the Panthers 32-18 well the Panthers blocked 21-15 in shots but in the end, Bobrovsky was the difference.
The 35-year-old net Finder was in the Stanley Cup finals last year as he propelled the Panthers to the final series after being benched earlier on in the year. Once he reasserted himself and found his game, he seemed unstoppable.
This season, Bobrovsky had a great season as he played 58 games and had a record of 36-17-4 with the goals against of 2.37 and the save percentage of .915 with six shutouts.
Each goal was scored in each. For the Panthers as Carter Verhaeghe, Evan Rodrigues and Eetu Luostarienen had the empty net for Florida.
