The Seattle Kraken looked strong through the first half of their game against the Florida Panthers on Saturday afternoon.

A relatively even first period saw both teams just about neck and neck in shot totals, with Jared McCann putting Seattle up 1-0.

Scoring seven minutes into the third period, Eeli Tolvanen gave Seattle the 2-0 lead.

The Kraken had looked strong into their zone entries to this point, but were not given much space through the neutral zone as the second frame would continue on.

Florida would score two quick goals from Gustav Forsling and Matthew Tkachuk to even the game up at two.

Florida would take their momentum with them through the rest of the period, outshooting Seattle 13-3.

Seattle would get more shots in the third period, but Florida goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky stood tall.

This marks the second game that the Kraken have given up a 2-0 lead.
