The Seattle Kraken finished their road trip going 2-1-1 against the Detroit Red Wings, Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, and Tampa Bay Lightning.

Though the Kraken did quite well, getting points in three of the four games, there's one thing all of these games had in common.

Seattle gave up a two-goal lead in every game played on the road trip, three of the four going to overtime and one a regulation loss.

One area Seattle has faltered is that they've allowed the opposing team to gain momentum and pile shots on.

Penalties only got in the way of Seattle against the Red Wings, but they stayed out of the box well in the games since.

Seattle has started the games well, being able to get to quick two-goal leads in their last three games, but have failed to keep their foot on the gas for the full 60 minutes.

The Kraken play their next game against the Nashville Predators on Thursday, who are always coached to play tenaciously.
