There will always be memorable moments during the NHL playoffs and the Stanley Cup finals and in this year's postseason it's been Paul Maurices press conferences and yesterday he dropped a brilliant one telling reporters he deserves a Stanley Cup.

During the June 7th presser, Maurice along with general manager bill Zito were listening to a question asking Maurice whether a Stanley Cup 1 by a coach would help cement his legacy as a great coach by all his peers and other players throughout the league.
Maurice quickly answered stating that he has been in this game for 30 years and feels that he would like to win one. This caused several chuckles throughout the press corps including his boss.
The 57-year-old head coach started his coaching career in Hartford when The Whalers hired him in 1995. He did two stints in Carolina, a short stint in Toronto, almost 10 years in Winnipeg and now two years in Florida.
He has coached 1848 games with a record of 869-736-99-144. He has made the Stanley Cup finals three times in his career and lost to the Vegas golden Knights last year and the Detroit Red Wings with Carolina in 2002.
He only has three wins remaining to hoist the great trophy and it remains to be seen on whether Florida can pull it off or the Oilers storm through and snatch his dream away from him.
