He may not be Ironman, but Seth Jarvis is the closest thing the NHL has to offer #Hurricanes #NHL

Despite having suffered a plethora of injuries in the regular season and playoffs, Carolina Hurricanes forward Seth Jarvis has managed to score more than 38 goals (33 regular season, 5 playoffs).

Seth Jarvis revealed that he played most of this season with a torn labrum and rotator cuff, then suffered a broken finger in the playoffs.

Even with those injuries, he still went on to score 33 goals during the regular season and led the team with five more in the postseason. Not bad.

Why play through instead of taking the time to heal up?

"I'll do whatever I need to to get out there. I didn't want to miss an opportunity with this kind of group."

What hasn't Jarvis injured by this point? Pain is clearly not an obstacle as the Hurricanes' star forward scored 33 goals in the regular season and five in the playoffs. Talk about commitment!
