Francis gives update on which players are headed to World Championship

Kraken's GM Ron Francis announced today that Seattle will have multiple players headed to the IIHF World Championship.

Although the Kraken's season has come to an end, Seattle fans will still be able to cheer on some of their favorite players as multiple players will be headed to World Championship to represent their country. The players that are headed to the tournament so far are Jared McCann, Brandon Tanev, Jamie Oleksiak, Andre Burakovsky, Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, Philip Grubauer and Thomas Tatar.

It is always a huge honor for NHL players to represent their home country regardless of the tournament, whether it's the Olympics World Championship or World Juniors. Players always play with a lot of pride for their team's but when that team is their country, it is almost as if their an extra sense of pride involved.
