Kraken's general manager Ron Francis spoke to the media today and answered some questions regarding star forward Jared McCann.

Francis stated that McCann is a very reliable forward and that he is good on both the wing and at center. The Kraken GM added that in an ideal world he would love to see McCann strictly on the wing but he is a good back up option at center.

Francis says regarding McCann playing both wing and center that "in an ideal world" #SeaKraken would like to have him at wing, but he's a good fallback option down the middle as well.

McCann is by far Seattle's best forward as he has been since their first season. The 27 year-old forward came from the Penguins in the expansion draft and has been incredible ever since. In his first season with the Kraken, McCann put up 50 points in 73 games which was his best season at the time. Since then, he has put up more than 50 points in every season. Last year he had a career best in points and goals with 70 points which 40 were goals in 79 games while this season was a bit slower but he still had 62 points in 80 games.

The Kraken forward has proven over the last few season that he is a top NHL scorer and he is clearly a big part of the team's future.
