The Hershey Bears clinched the Calder Cup with a thrilling 5-4 overtime victory against the Coachella Valley Firebirds in Game 6.

In a rematch of the 2022-23 finals, the Firebirds were determined to rewrite history. Holding a 2-1 series lead heading into Game 3, the Firebirds' hopes were high. However, the Bears managed three consecutive one-goal victories to seal their triumph.
Game 6 began promisingly for the Firebirds, with Ryan Winterton scoring just 1:37 into the game. The Bears quickly responded with two goals in the first period, taking a 2-1 lead.
In the second period, Marian Studenic and Winterton netted back-to-back goals, pushing the Firebirds ahead 3-2. The Bears, however, equalized late in the period, bringing the score to 3-3.
