Petman, 24, played 127 games over the past two seasons with the Coachella Valley Firebirds, scoring 14 goals and accumulating 40 points. Although he participated in 26 playoff games during the 2022-23 season, he has not featured in any playoff games this year.
Before signing with the Kraken, Petman spent two seasons with SaiPa, where he led his team in scoring with 15 goals and 39 points in 59 games during his final season. Despite being brought to North America as a promising prospect, Petman has not yet earned a spot on the Kraken roster or increased his playing time with the Firebirds.
SaiPa, who missed the playoffs last season, will be looking to Petman's return to boost their performance.
