SportsNet's Elliot Friedman and Seattle Sports' Michael Bumpus shared the list of their top contenders in the search for a new head coach for the Seattle Kraken.

While on the 32 Thoughts podcast, SportsNet's Elliot Friedman said that he only saw Dan Bylsma, Todd McClellan and Jay Leach as serious contenders for the top coaching job.
"Seattle, I think there's three names: Dan Bylsma, Todd McClellan and Jay Leach. And the interesting thing about Seattle is, in New Jersey I think at different times, different people have argued in favor of who should be the next coach of the Devils. I think that's also the case in Seattle. I don't know if a split is the right word, but at different times I think people have argued for different people."

Seattle Sports' Michael Bumpus weighed in on air on Thursday's edition of Bump and Stacy saying he weighed more towards Bylsma although he saw Leach as having very good potential.
After more than three weeks, management has yet to make a decision as Kraken fans and pundits alike await the announcement.
