Previewing the Kraken Vs. the Panthers

Saturday afternoon will be the first meeting this season between the Seattle Kraken and the Florida Panthers.

Seattle comes into this matchup with a 2-4-2 record, coming off of an overtime loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday night.

The Florida Panthers came into this season with high hopes after making a historic run to the Stanley Cup Final in the Spring, losing to the Vegas Golden Knights in five games.

However, their roster to start this season is without some major members who were hurt during the playoffs.


Defensemen Aaron Ekblad and Brandon Montour both are out for Florida, their top two blueliners.

They also lost the tough as nails Radko Gudas to free agency who was a key part of their run.

With a 3-3 start to the year, Florida will need every win they can take to get them points in the Atlantic Division, one of the toughest in the sport.
