Seattle Kraken goaltending prospect Niklas Kokko registered his first win in the Liiga Finnish Elite league on the season.

Kokko was drafted 58th overall by Seattle in the second round of the 2022 NHL draft.

The 19-year-old goaltender has been excellent despite going winless in his first three contests.

Kokko's season record has improved to 1-2-1 with a .925 save percentage and a 1.99 goals against average.

Niklas Kokko has seen games in the Liiga ever since the 2021-22 season, but played his most number of games in the 2022-23 season with 8 games, posting a .903 save percentage.

In three playoff games for Hermes in the Finnish Mestis league, Kokko went 1-2-0 with a .917 save percentage.

Despite not posting winning records, Kokko has proven to be fantastic between the pipes for his teams in Finland.

The 6'4 goaltender could become an option for the Kraken to bring overseas to play in the AHL as early as next season.

So far, Niklas Kokko looks to be the top goaltender in the Kraken's prospect pool.
