Monday night will mark a special milestone for Seattle forward Matty Beniers.

Beniers will play in his 100th NHL game against Tampa Bay on Monday night, an impressive achievement for the 20 year old.

Beniers was the first ever Seattle Kraken draft pick as the 2nd overall selection in the 2021 NHL draft.

After finishing his college season at Michigan, Beniers came right into the NHL playing 10 games for Seattle and posting 9 points.

The 2022-23 campaign saw Beniers play his rookie season where he put up 24 goals and 57 points in 80 games, earning him the Calder trophy as the NHL's rookie of the year.

This season, Beniers is yet to score his first goal but has three assists.
