Former Krakens player takes part in setting up potential goal of the year
Ryan Donato, the former Seattle Kraken player, pulled off a jaw-dropping assist that could easily be called the "goal of the year."
In a thrilling play, Donato intercepted a pass and smoothly sent it over to Taylor Hall, who made no mistake and scored on a breakaway.
Donato had joined the Seattle Kraken back on September 13, 2021, as a free agent.
His impressive performance during the previous season, where he notched a career-high 16 goals, earned him a one-year contract extension worth $1.2 million, which he happily accepted on July 27, 2022.
However, the winds of change blew in the NHL landscape as Donato made another move, signing a new two-year contract with the Chicago Blackhawks on July 1, 2023, worth $4 million.
It's a fresh chapter in his hockey journey, and fans on both sides of the ice will be watching closely to see what Donato brings to his new team.
