This appears to have cost the Seattle Kraken's first head coach Dave Hakstol his job. The Seattle Kraken has announced that Dave Hakstol is relieved of his duties.
Dave Hakstol was the head coach of the Seattle Kraken first three years as a franchise and finished with a record of 107-112-27. He led the Kraken to their first playoff berth in the 2022-2023 including winning the 1st round of the playoffs as the Kraken was eliminated in the 2nd round of the playoffs that year. With Dave Hakstol now relieved of his duties, the search for the Kraken's 2nd head coach in franchise history will now begin.
