To start the season, three NHL teams have done what has never been done before in league history.

The Boston Bruins, Colorado Avalanche, and Vegas Golden Knights all have gone undefeated through their first six games, Vegas having won seven.

This marks the first time in the history of the NHL that three teams have gone without a loss through that many games.

Boston's next game will be at home against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday after playing Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday night in Chicago, resulting in a 3-0 and goaltender Jeremy Swayman's first shutout of the season.

Colorado will play the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday after lighting up the score sheet for seven goals in a win against the New York Islanders on Tuesday night.

Vegas has a couple of days off before the Chicago Blackhawks make the trip to T-Mobile Arena for Friday night's game.

Tuesday night saw Vegas win a nail-biter of a game against the Philadelphia Flyer, with defenseman Shea Theodore scoring with under a minute left to give the Knights the lead.
