The Seattle Kraken's farm team, the Coachella Valley Firebirds, are heating up at the right time during the Pacific Divisional Final in the 2024 AHL playoffs.

In Game 1 against their rival, the Ontario Reign, prospect Jacob Melanson came up clutch, dishing a beautiful assist on the game-winning goal to secure a 3-2 victory.
Melanson has been a standout performer for the Firebirds in the playoffs, tallying three points in just five games. His playmaking ability and offensive prowess have been on full display, giving the Kraken organization plenty of reasons to feel optimistic about their future talent pool.
The 21-year-old forward's impressive performance in the postseason has only solidified his status as one of the Kraken's top prospects.
