Kraken Eyeing Ducks' Trevor Zegras

The Seattle Kraken are reportedly eyeing Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras as a potential addition to their roster. According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, the Kraken might target Zegras, a move that aligns with the team's ongoing search for a scoring forward and the Ducks' openness to trading him.
Acquiring Zegras would significantly bolster the Kraken's offensive lineup and reunite him with his good friend, Matty Beniers. Despite a challenging season where the 23-year-old played only 31 games due to a broken ankle, he managed to score six goals and tally 15 points.
Pagnotta highlighted in his article:
"Seattle seems to be a team to watch. Kraken GM Ron Francis doesn't let much out, but word around the NHL is he's pushing for a goal-scoring forward. As I reported on NHL Network yesterday, they've been tied to Martin Necas and Patrik Laine. I also wonder about Trevor Zegras."
Selected in the first round of the 2019 draft, Zegras is versatile, capable of playing both as a centreman and on the wing. His playmaking skills make him a valuable asset on the ice, and after a challenging season, a change of scenery could benefit the young forward.
With all indications pointing towards the Kraken making a significant move for a top forward this offseason, there's a buzz of anticipation among fans and analysts alike.
