Kraken forward Andre Burakovsky announced this morning that he will be representing Sweden at the IIHF World Championship.

Burakovsky will be at the IIHF World Championship that is taking place between May 10- May 26 in Czechia. The 29 year-old will be on a staked Swedish team with players such as Rasmus Dahlin and Lucas Raymond.

forward Andre Burakovsky will be playing with Team Sweden (

.

The Swedish forward struggled this season with the Kraken as he only put up 16 points through 49 games with a -15 +/- rating. This slump of a season came as a big surprise since last year he put up an impressive 39 points in 49 games with the Kraken.

Hopefully the World Championship will help Burakovsky get back to his old ways and he will show up ready to play next season.
