Two Seattle players found the scoresheet for their first points of the season on Thursday against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Devin Shore and Jamie Oleksiak each got a point in the first period for Seattle, helping the team quickly get to a 2-0 lead.

Oleksiak got an assist on the first Kraken goal by Oliver Bjorkstrand, a primary assist for the big defenseman.

Through the early goings of this season, Oleksiak has shown more willingness to jump into the play and push for offense, and it looks like that is beginning to pay off.

Not long after their first tally, Devin Shore would get the Kraken on the board again with a breakaway goal after Bjorkstrand fed him a long pass.

Shore has scored his first goal as a Kraken in just his second game after signing a one-year contract with the team back in August.

Devin Shore has made his presence known on the fourth line for the Kraken on this road trip.
