The Kraken are going to be up against a tough team in the Tampa Bay Lightning, on Monday night.

Tampa Bay has the fourth best power play in the NHL at 32.1%.

There are five players on the Lightning who are a point per game or better right now, with their sixth highest scorer, Nick Paul, having seven points in eight games.

Nikita Kucherov leads the charge for Tampa's offense with six goals and eleven points through eight games.

Brayden Point, Victor Hedman, Brandon Hagel, and Steven Stamkos are the other players on Tampa performing at a point per game.

The Lightning also are tied for the second best penalty kill in the league right now with 94.7%

In their last game against the Panthers, the Kraken did not see much time on either special teams unit.

The power play and penalty kill units both saw the ice only once, with the Panthers scoring on their only power play of the game.
