The Seattle Kraken fell 4-1 to the New York Rangers on Saturday night's home game, with their season record standing at 1-4-1.

Justin Schultz opened the scoring for Seattle, but was the only Kraken member to find the back of the net.

After struggling against Nashville in their previous game, the Rangers had standout performances from Artemi Panarin and Filip Chytil.

Brian Dumoulin found the scoresheet with an assist, his first point of the season and first as a member of the Kraken.

New York's veteran netminder Jonathan Quick stopped 18 of 19 Seattle shots, ending the game with a .947 save percentage.

Eeli Tolvanen added an assist on Saturday, his second point of the season in six games. He has points in back to back games and is looking for his first goal of the season.

Seattle will travel to Detroit to play the 4-1 Red Wings on Tuesday night, where they will look to bounce back after Saturday's loss.
