Seattle's matchup against Nashville on Thursday will see the Kraken looking for their first win on home ice since their 7-4 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes on October 19th.

Nashville is also looking to gain some momentum to boost their ranking in the NHL's Central Division, but there are some areas that Seattle can take advantage of going into their game.
These are the keys to a Kraken victory against the Nashville Predators.
– Make the man advantage count
Must read on KrakenLatest
Seattle's power play has been improving over the last week, with a power play goal being scored in three of their last four outings.
Nashville's penalty kill is bottom five in the league at 69%, and gives the Kraken the opportunity to put a gap between them and the Predators.
However, Nashville is one of the most disciplined teams in the league, similar to Seattle. So when the calls do happen, make them count.
– Contain Forsberg and Josi
Nashville has seen 60% of their goals this season scored by their centermen, so getting sticks in lanes against them is a must, but the Preds have a couple of dynamic playmakers as well.
Filip Forsberg and captain Roman Josi are the best Nashville has at dishing the puck, both are creative and can create something out of nothing.
Forsberg leads the team with seven assists in nine games, and Josi is second with five.
Taking away the passing options from these two is likely to minimize Nashville's chances.
– Put bodies on front of the net
It is no secret that goaltender Jusse Saros is the heartbeat of the Nashville Predators. If he succeeds, the team is likely to sneak out some wins.
Saros can steal a game for Nashville, as he has registered multiple 50 plus save performances in the past.
However, he is human, and taking away his eyes is key.
Seattle will need to crash the net and screen Saros when given the chance. Expect forwards Tye Kartye, Eeli Tolvanen, and Jaden Schwartz to be creating havoc in front of him.
