Beer League Player Nearly Dies From Arena Equipment Falling

This week, Jonny Lazarus shared a video submitted to him via Twitter that's a real head-turner. In the video, the team in white starts retreating into their zone. As the three players cross their own blue line, a loud rumble fills the air, and suddenly, the arena's HVAC system comes crashing down onto the ice, narrowly missing a defender.

As the video caption suggests, it's quite a defensive strategy from the team in white! But on a serious note, the silver lining here is that no one got hurt in this incident, despite how close it was. Getting flattened by an HVAC system was probably not something most of us worried about in beer league... until now.

The game came to a halt, and thankfully, everyone made a safe exit from the ice.
