Kraken organization announce 3 new signings

The Kraken organization announced this morning that they have signed 3 new players to amateur tryouts with Coachella Valley Firebirds.

The players that have signed ATOs are D Kaden Hammell, C Andrei Loshko, and LW Carson Rehkopf.
Seattle Kraken D Kaden Hammell, C Andrei Loshko, and LW Carson Rehkopf have signed an amateur try-outs (ATO) with Coachella Valley (AHL).



Hammell is a defenseman that was drafted by the Kraken 148th overall in the fifth round of the 2023 NHL draft. The 19 year-old spent the last season playing in the WHL for the Everett Silvertips where he had 25 points in 52 games.

Loshko is a forward who played for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in the QMJHL and was drafted by the Kraken in the fourth round of the 2023 NHL draft. The Young center put up 67 points in 64 games this season.

Rehkopf was drafted by Seattle 50th overall in the second round of the 2023 NHL draft. The 19 year-old forward has been playing in the OHL for the Kitchener Rangers where he had an incredible season putting up 95 points in 60 games with a 23 +/- rating.

All of these prospects will head to Coachella to try and help the Firebirds win the Calder cup this season.
