Kraken forward Yanni Gourde speaks on personal struggles this season

Seattle struggled this season as a whole and so did forward Yanni Gourde which he spoke about in a recent interview.
Gourde was on a french Radio show in his hometown of Montreal where he discussed his struggles this season.Gourde said for some reason he was unable to score this year, he felt like he was in the right spots but couldn't find the back of the net. The Kraken forward said that he will work hard this off-season to find his way once again.
"Cette année, c'était juste très difficile de marquer des buts. J'avais l'impression que je faisais les bonnes choses. Puis, j'allais en avant du but, j'essayais de dévier les rondelles. Tu sais, on souvent, on dit qu'on n'a pas les bonds. Mais en même temps, il faut que tu travailles pour tes bonds. On voit toujours le même Yanni, mais j'ai l'impression qu'il faut vraiment que je me concentre là-dessus. Il faut vraiment que je retrouve mon identité."
Gourde was coming off back to back 48 points season this year but failed to improve as he only put up 33 points this season while only missing two games all season.
Hopefully Gourde has a solid summer and will be back to his usual self at the beginning of next season.
