Insider reports Kraken players did not want to play for Hakstol

Insider Emily Kaplan reported that Kraken GM Ron Francis did not want to fire Dave Hakstol but the decision was made due to how the players felt regarding the coach.
According to Kaplan, during the exit meeting this season, many key players mentioned how they did not want to play for Hakstol next season which forced management's hand.Last night Emily Kaplan reported that at exit meetings a handful of significant players on the Seattle Kraken made it clear to management that they don't want to play on the team in the future if Dave Hakstol is still the coach.
On the outside looking in, Hakstol seemed like a solid head coach for the Kraken but evidently the players did not agree if they felt it was bad enough that they would rather not be in Seattle if he was the coach moving forward.
