Coachella Valley Playing Great

The Firebirds swept their weekend back to back with the San Jose Barracuda before adding another win against the Abbotsford Canucks on Tuesday.

Saturday's game against San Jose saw Coachella Valley set a franchise record 8 goals scored en route to their win, a record they would tie on Tuesday in their 8-3 win over Abbotsford.

After improving their record to 4-2 on the season, Coachella Valley now sits tied for fifth in the AHL's Pacific Division with the Bakersfield Condors, who they play on Saturday.

The Firebirds have had standout performances from Shane Wright and Max McCormick as they have led the offense to 21 goals in their last three games.

Coachella Valley's next game is on Saturday where they travel to Bakersfield to face off against the Condors, before returning home for three games.
