Tanev Resumes Skating

Kraken fans will be pleased to hear that forward Brandon Tanev was skating in full gear at the team's practice on Wednesday.

Brandon «Turbo» Tanev was announced to be out 4-6 weeks on October16th, a big loss for the Kraken forwards.

He is not the kind of player who always puts up the points, but he plays a relentless game with tons of heart.

Tanev is the kind of player who makes his presence known, a terrific penalty killer who isn't afraid to go into the corners to retrieve pucks, or drop the gloves when needed be.



Getting some individual work in at practice this morning, Tanev seems to be progressing well as he recovers from his injury.

Last season, Tanev potted 16 goals and 35 points for Seattle, playing all 82 games for the Kraken, setting a career high in both goals and points.

Hopefully soon we will see Tanev back for the Kraken.
