A US college hockey player's future in the sport has taken a severe hit as the University of Michigan announced the permanent removal of sophomore defenseman Johnny Druskinis from their team.

The university made it clear that this decision was due to a violation of team rules, though they didn't specify the nature of the violation:
"Johnny Druskinis is no longer on the Michigan Hockey roster, following a violation of team rules." - University of Michigan Hockey

However, it has since emerged that Druskinis was allegedly captured on camera spray-painting swastikas on a Jewish resource center:
